This is a blog about my experiences as a student nurse, things related to nursing, and some things not.
As I have a code of conduct to follow I will be keeping things confidential and may not let on which hospital or health centre I’m training at, but I will do my best to give a feel of my placements and what’s going on!
Some personal things will be thrown in of course; can’t be serious all the time 
(take note of this student nurses out there!)
I am 23 and in my 2nd year of studying a Diploma in Adult Nursing at the University of Manchester. I drive, which helps.

I live with my parents. My British father works in the aircraft industry and my Filipino mother works at our local hospital as a healthcare assistant in theatres. She has taught me a lot about people and caring and inspired me to go into nursing. I have an amazing older brother who is a genius and is studying a degree in computer software engineering.
I have an amazing boyfriend who supports me, helps me and loves me no matter how stressful things get. He makes me feel lucky everyday. He has a degree in Design and Art Direction and does contract work here and there for various design and media companies.
